Notre Histoire - About De Zéro

Founder of De Zéro, Chef Seth Davis is a self-made chef born and raised in the Florida Panhandle. His career began long ago as a young kid working in the infamous Modica Market located in Seaside, Florida. It was there that he learned the fundamentals of cooking and butchering. He worked in kitchens well into young—adult hood and continued honing in on his craft in the years following. He went on to run multiple kitchens along the Gulf Coast before he graduated high school... Seth’s dream was eventually realized after branching off on his own and creating his personal chef business, De Zéro.

Beyond his work history, another driving force for Seth’s culinary career is his grandfather, Bob. When he was a boy, Seth recalls the ritual smell of fresh baked bread every morning in his grandparents home. Bob had a knack in the kitchen for baking breads, making fresh jams and other accouterments regularly. Seth cherished and shared this love of home-made fare with Bob and carried it with him long into adulthood.

Today, you can find Seth riding his bike to the local farmer’s markets, fishing and paddle boarding in the Gulf of Mexico, and hanging out with his eight year old dog, Moose.
